Job Description Our established client based in Kettering has a full-time vacancy for an HR Assistant to provide support to the Head of HR and HR Advisor on a variety of activities, enhancing the company's brand and reputation. About The Role As an HR Assistant, you will be required to carry out the following: To support the recruitment process including liaising with candidates, managing agencies, preparing adverts, shortlisting, organising and attending interviews, issuing appropriate documentation To take responsibility for the on-boarding and induction process for new starters Managing the day to day absence, sickness absence recording and tracking (using Bradford) To provide support for on-site training and development activities, liaise with training providers, capture training costs, course evaluation and support internal HR training efforts. Conduct HR Induction sessions Support the implementation of an integrated HR and Payroll system Sickness absence recording and tracking (using Bradford) Appraisal process Support leaver process, including exit interviews and final pay calculations Maintain employee data on the HR system Provide reception cover during periods of absence Support with tasks surrounding Redundancies, TUPE, Short-time working Support the HR Advisor and Head of HR as required About You Essential Able to demonstrate and maintain confidentiality High level of attention to detail Demonstrable experience of multi-tasking and adapting to changing priorities Educated to ‘A’ level standard Hold a CIPD qualification Experience of working within an HR team Experience of working with an integrated HR and Payroll system Excellent interpersonal skills Strong communication skills, both verbal and written End - end recruitment and selection (including offers and negotiation) Experience of onboarding Knowledge of entitlement calculations Working knowledge of Bradford Desirable Experience of working with Cascade Conflict Management HRIS knowledge Working knowledge of 360 appraisals On offer is a competitive salary of up to £27,500, and other staff benefits include 25 – 30 days (service related) annual leave; life assurance; a group personal pension plan; income protection; free parking; flexible working hours.
