About The Role As a Clinical Contract Specialist in Category Medical Affairs, you will harness your passion for healthcare and life sciences to make a real impact on our products and consumers. Your responsibilities You will act as Subject Matter Expert for contract compliance and execution globally for all EG&CR. Work with the Outsourcing Lead(s) to develop both an understanding of their requirements and to prepare appropriate solutions for their contracting needs. Draft all contracts, according to information provided by the Outsourcing Lead(s), with or without Legal support, ensuring risks are mitigated. Develop and negotiate preferred, non-preferred or niche service contracts (i.e., non-disclosure agreements, stand-alone service agreements, master services agreements, call[1]off contracts, change orders/amendments, etc.). Identification and resolution of all business and legal issues related to contracts. Perform quality checks on the contract documents and ensuring that all required elements of a contract are captured e.g., scope of work, budget, invoicing specifications etc. Establish strong partnerships with the Outsourcing Leads, Legal, Procurement and Vendor(s) to understand contracting challenges and drive resolutions. Drive timely contract review and approval flow with relevant stakeholders. Track contracts and resources in relevant databases with key responsibility for end-to-end contract lifecycle management including upload of contracts into contract repository. Ensure contract pre-requisites are in place, or mitigated, prior to contract execution in compliance with Reckitt policies and procedures. Deliver ongoing contract management in a timely and appropriate manner The experience we're looking for Clinical contracting experience in developing and negotiating service contracts. Basic understanding of the clinical research process and regulations. Basic understanding of ICH GCP regarding study documentation. Ability to work with and influence multiple stakeholders in a matrix organisation. Pro-active and self-directed with a high level of initiative and persistence.
