Foxes Out Of School Club - Manager
22.5 hours Term Time & 40 Hours School Holidays
Salary: £12.50 per hour
This role would be working 22.5 hours per week - 7:30am-9am and 3pm-6pm Monday - Friday Term Time and 40 hours per week in School Holidays.
As a club we offer quality childcare and a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities for 4-11 year olds.
Your role will involve supporting, leading and inspiring the other staff members to create a fun and stimulating environment to engage the children and support their learning, curiosity and development.
Within this role, you will:
* Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent, and visitor at all times.
* Understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are met throughout the nursery.
* Assist in managing the acceptance and administration of medication and ensure care plans are thorough and up to date for children or staff with health conditions.
* Ensure that all children receive stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments and resources that are appropriate to their age and stage of development.
* Promote respect and credibility for this position through effective communication skills, impartiality, and consistency.
* Inspire staff team with creative ideas and new challenges with aim to achieve outstanding practice.
* Maintain accurate records and accounts relating to children and staff on EyMan system and on file.
* Undertake any other duties to ensure the smooth running of the nursery and safety and wellbeing of children, staff, and families.

For this role, you will need:
* Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification - Essential
* Leadership experience - Essential
* Over 1 years’ experience of working within childcare - Essential
* Sound knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - Essential
* Over 1 years’ experience of working in a management position - Desirable.
* Level 5 qualification in Childcare and/or Management and Leadership - Desirable
* Experience of successfully passing an Ofsted inspection to good or outstanding - Desirable
