Role: Head of Communications and Marketing Hours: 37 Salary: Competitive Contract: Permanent Location: Oldham with hybrid working options Reports to: CEO First Choice Homes Oldham (FCHO) are seeking an outstanding, ambitious, skilled communications leader to head up our team and deliver creative and impactful communications to our customers, colleagues and stakeholders. The successful candidate will be passionate about making a difference in our communities and will continue to build, protect and maximise our reputation by telling our stories through high quality communications and public affairs. Just some of the things that we are looking for Our ideal candidate: Has proven experience in a communications and marketing team with evidence of personal impact and accountability for work. Has proven experience at a management/ leadership level with the ability to develop and implement team plans Has experience of creating and building a brand. Has demonstrable experience of promoting an organisation through effective media relations, including pro-active campaigns and re-active reputation management. Has a demonstrable ability to monitor and assess marketing and media strategy and activities success/failure against key business objectives. Has experience of budget preparation and managing and monitoring budgets Understands the importance of equality, diversity and inclusion and demonstrates this by treating colleagues and customers fairly and equitably Is educated to degree level or equivalent in experience (desirable).
