Company Overview
We are seeking an eCommerce National Account Manager to take full UK P&L responsibility for the eCommerce channel. This role requires a highly dynamic individual capable of building strategic and collaborative partnerships with major accounts.
Role Summary
As an eCommerce National Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing key eCommerce accounts, driving sales growth, optimizing product visibility, and leveraging data to create business efficiencies. You must be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of both B2B and B2C eCommerce, capable of utilizing commercial, operational, and marketing sales levers to maximize success.
Key Responsibilities
1. Work closely with the Managing Director to deliver sales, margin, and performance KPIs.
2. Identify and capitalize on commercial growth opportunities.
Account Management & Partnerships:
1. Develop and maintain influential relationships with key customers.
2. Lead customer range review meetings to increase listings and market share.
3. Negotiate contracts and customer terms, ensuring win-win agreements.
4. Manage and maintain customer promotional plans.
Data & Insights:
1. Analyze large pools of data to drive sales opportunities and business efficiencies.
2. Create and manage detailed sales forecasts.
3. Utilize data to optimize content, pricing, and marketing strategies.
Content & Product Optimization:
1. Ensure best-in-class product content across all eCommerce platforms.
2. Maximize product visibility, ranking, and sales velocity online.
Cross-functional Collaboration & Leadership:
1. Represent the voice of key accounts internally, driving business changes.
2. Present with authority to senior stakeholders and peers.
3. Be an expert in product ranges and retailer landscape.
Qualifications & Skills Essential:
1. Proven experience in an eCommerce National Account Manager (NAM) / Key Account Manager (KAM) role.
2. Strong understanding of eCommerce best practices and sales levers.
3. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
4. Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
5. Ability to work independently and in a cross-functional team environment.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).
7. Willingness to travel nationally.
