Looking for a career where what you do truly matters ? Whether you're just starting out or already working in care, now’s your chance to specialise, grow, and make a lasting impact.
Within our South West services, we support over 35 autistic individuals across Lanark, Biggar, and Carluke. We’re on the lookout for Autism Practitioners - our name for support workers who go above and beyond - to join our team and help people live life on their own terms.
As an Autism Practitioner, you’ll empower autistic people to:
* Build independence and confidence
* Get involved in community and social activities
* Access work placements and volunteering opportunities
* Maintain their own homes and make everyday decisions
You’ll also:
* Create personalised support plans that reflect real aspirations
* Work closely with families, professionals, and partners
* Build strong, meaningful relationships with the individuals you support
No experience? No problem.
We believe in potential over perfection. If you’re compassionate, collaborative, and ready to learn, we’ll provide you with full autism-specific training and mentorship. This is a fantastic step for anyone looking to build a meaningful career in social care.
