About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant at Oak Tree School, part of Acorn Education.
* This is a permanent, term-time only position with 42.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 8.00am - 4.30pm.
* The salary for this role is £23,693.75 per annum.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with pupils who experience social, emotional, mental health, communication difficulties and associated challenging behaviors.
As a member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting pupils in their learning journeys, preparing learning materials, and running classroom activities.
You will also take responsibility for the emotional and physical needs of the pupils, ensuring they feel safe and supported throughout their day.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to have GCSE C or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths, and be adaptable and ready to work in a variety of classroom roles.
You will be expected to complete Crisis Prevention Intervention training and use strategies to keep pupils and adults safe.
