Our teams support patients to live independently and improve their quality of life in the place they call home. As a Community Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in our service. Working closely with the multi-disciplinary team made up of registered clinicians, other support staff and Administrators, to provide vital ongoing clinical care such as, vital signs observations, basic wound care techniques, medicines management, functional rehabilitation, and many other clinical skills. Successful candidates will receive full support to complete the Level 3 Senior Healthcare Support Worker Apprenticeship and become confident working independently in the community. Main duties of the job Undertake a range of delegated clinical, therapy & nursing led activities to support our service users. To provide safe, patient centred and effective clinical care in the community setting. Work within adults services to deliver a full range of healthcare activities. You may be expected to work flexibly with other teams or services, both within the locality and Sirona wide when the need arises at short notice. Be able and willing to travel throughout the service delivery geographical area. Commit to completing the Level 3 Senior Healthcare Support Worker apprenticeship, with support from your team. There are intakes every three months and you will be enrolled on the next available course after starting. You'll be entitled to enhanced pay for weekends and bank holidays and mileage is reimbursed whilst you carry out your duties at work. This service runs from 8am - 8pm, 7 days a week. 6 hours weekly paid 'off the job' training time with some self-directed study also required. This post is full-time, however part-time hours at a minimum of 30 hours per week will also be considered.
