The Opportunity:
We are currently recruiting for a Solicitor or Lawyer with at least 3 years PQE (there is no upper limit on the amount of PQE) to join our Private Client team, based in our Norwich and Aylsham offices. This role is an excellent opportunity to provide Fee Earning support to the team and work in a fast-paced environment, whilst ensuring high standards of client care are carried out in a professional and pleasant manner.
The Lawyer or Solicitor:
We are seeking candidates that have previous experience in a Private Client Fee Earning position, excellent time management, organisational, IT and communication skills, accurate typing abilities, a willingness to learn new skills, knowledge and expertise in the field, exceptional attention to detail and the ability to communicate in a friendly, professional and confidential manner. The role available will suit those with a positive and flexible approach and an ability to remain calm under pressure in order to project the image and ethos of the firm at all times.
The role:
1. Provide high quality fee earning support in the Private Client team.
2. Advise on and manage a wide range of Private Client matters including complex Wills and assets, Tax planning, Estate administration, Trusts, Succession Planning, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection and Deputyship matters as well as some contentious Probate matters.
3. Develop and maintain knowledge on issues within the Private Client sphere and work collaboratively with colleagues across the whole team to share knowledge.
4. Contribute to business development opportunities and identify networking opportunities internally and externally, as well as engagement in marketing and cross-selling.
5. Demonstrate high technical ability, excellent drafting and client care skills.
6. Work flexibly in other offices as required.
7. Work collaboratively and collegiately with colleagues and successfully manage client relationships.
8. Demonstrate teamwork and relationship building skills.
9. Display willingness to nurture and teach junior members of the team, if required.
