The successful candidate will lead the vision for the school and implement strategies to achieve this vision. This is a key post which comes at an exciting and challenging time foreducation in the school. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, creative, modern, critically reflective and forward-thinking school leader to work in a modern state-of-the-art Roman Catholic secondary school opened in August 2023. The successful candidate will lead in the ongoing creation of an inclusive, ambitious and distinctively Catholic school culture with a future-oriented curriculum which embeds twenty first century pedagogies, immersed in digital technologies. The school also has shared sports facilities of the highest standard. The school currently has S1 & S2 cohort and the roll will continue to rise year on year to reach its 660-pupil initial capacity by 2028. A future expansion strategy has been considered beyond this, potentially increasing the school roll up to a maximum capacity of 1,210 pupils. The successful candidate will have the necessary experience and leadership skills to lead a team and assist in taking forward the principles of Curriculum for Excellence in order to support the improvement agenda of the authority.
