Salary: Ark Outer London Grade 7 Scale points 14-24 (£31,646 to £36,727 actual salary) depending on experience

About our school:
Ark Blake Academy is a growing and successful academy based in East Croydon that opened in September 2020. We are consistently oversubscribed in every year group and currently have students in Years 7–11. We continue to grow and look forward to our first cohort of students completing their GCSE studies in the summer of 2025. We now wish to recruit for further key roles to drive forward our ambitious plans.

The role
The Family Liaison Officer (Attendance) will work in closely supporting the Assistant Principal (Attendance & Safeguarding) in the whole Academy attendance strategy, managing a caseload of ‘at risk’ and priority students where attendance is of concern to implement strategies, monitor and improve the attendance of our most vulnerable students.
The successful candidate will represent the Academy at external meetings including Social Service Case Conferences, Child In Need Meetings and LAC Reviews. They will support the Attendance Team and be an impactful link between the Academy, external providers, students and families conducting home visits as required.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow with the Academy. We will provide one-to-one support, coaching and access to extensive network training to support career development and leadership opportunities.
