P4G Security provides tailored security services for commercial properties, retail and malls, events venues, film and television, and bespoke requirements. We are recognized for our emphasis on fast response times, advanced security technologies, and a proactive approach to safeguarding both assets and individuals.
We are looking for Full-time and Part-time Night Security guards for an all-male housing complex in Christchurch.
* Hours are 1900 – 0300. *14-day rotating roster will work every other weekend.
Key Responsibilities:
* Patrol the premises
* Controlling access to restricted areas
* Provide a strong presence of security
* Enforce the rules of the complex
* Physical response to security incidents
* Report incidents and ensure all health and safety protocols are met and followed
Minimum Requirements:
* Current Certificate of Approval (COA)
* Ability to work in New Zealand
* Physical presence with a medium/high standard of fitness
* Experience dealing with incidents and conflict
* Must have excellent de-escalation skills and be able to communicate effectively with people from all walks of life
* Able to work independently and complete nightly reports
* High level of written and verbal English communication skills
* Ability to work in a medium risk site
* Ability to pass a Ministry of Justice Criminal Convictions check
