Prospero Teaching is looking for motivated and resilient Teaching Assistants to support students in Primary & Secondary SEMH schools in Devon and Cornwall.
The schools cater to students in Key Stages 1, 2, 3, and 4 with an Educational Health and Care Plan (EHCP) identifying SEMH.
The position is open to experienced staff and those with backgrounds in youth work, sports coaching, support work, or mentoring children and young adults. The role is also suitable for individuals with qualifications in Psychology, Health and Social Care, or Sociology.
Depending on performance, the school may consider extending the contract or offering a permanent position.

Experience, Training and Qualifications
* Enhanced Child Workforce DBS or willingness to obtain one
* Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
* Provide two professional child-related references that cover the last 2 years
