Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional service delivery, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. Your leadership will contribute to creating a welcoming environment for both guests and staff, while fostering a culture of excellence within the establishment.
Responsibilities
1. Assist the General Manager in managing daily operations of the establishment, including food preparation and production.
2. Supervise kitchen staff and front-of-house teams to ensure efficient service and adherence to food safety regulations.
3. Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
4. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, as well as food safety protocols.
5. Provide training and support to new employees, fostering a collaborative team environment.
6. Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
7. Assist in developing menus and special promotions to enhance guest experience.
8. Monitor financial performance and assist in budget management.
Skills
1. Proven experience in hospitality management or a similar role within the food service industry.
2. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards.
3. Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
4. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
5. Experience in bartending or managing bar operations is advantageous.
6. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
7. Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to challenges.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £30,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
