Jacksons Associates are currently recruiting for a receptionist and administrative funeral Assistant for the East London Area. Our client is a compassionate and professional funeral directors dedicated to supporting families during their time of need.
Key Responsibilities:
Front Desk Management: Greet and assist families and visitors with warmth and professionalism.
Phone and Email Handling: Answer and direct phone calls, manage emails, and respond to inquiries promptly.
Appointment Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule appointments for funeral arrangements and consultations.
Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support, including filing, data entry, and document preparation.
Client Assistance: Assist clients with paperwork, provide information about services, and ensure their needs are met with empathy and care.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, services provided, and other relevant information.
Office Supplies Management: Monitor and order office supplies as needed as well as generally tiding of all areas.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the funeral directors and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
Chapel of Rest: Show families into the chapel of rest, providing support and ensuring a respectful environment.
You must be compassionate, empathetic and able to handle sensitive situations with discretion and respect. You must demonstrate a high level of empathy, attention to detail and customer service as you will be the first person that all visitors and families see when entering the building.
This is a fulltime role, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm and one Saturday in every six.
