About the Role
The Subscriptions Team of DC Thomson is looking for a highly organised Operations Executive who has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will support the Head of Subscriptions and the wider team in managing subscription marketing, sales, fulfilment, reporting, analysis and administration activities. Additionally, you will support group warehousing and fulfilment activities, ensuring effective cost management while meeting required service levels.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the Head of Subscription Operations in the pick, pack and dispatch of goods & customer communications to magazine & newspaper customers.
2. Liaise with internal stakeholders (such as the Head of Subscription Operations, Subscriptions Team, Magazine Operations Team, Customer Service etc.) and external service providers to maximise customer experience.
3. Produce operational reports for use by internal stakeholders.
4. Manage stock holding & stock disposal effectively.
5. Understand the value and importance of the department’s sales volumes and revenues.
6. Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
7. Undertake any other reasonable additional tasks within the scope of the post.
The Ideal Candidate:
1. Has exposure to fulfilment processes and courier/postal services.
2. A multitasker with excellent organisation, communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
3. Has meticulous attention to detail.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
5. Has the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work collaboratively with them.

This is a full-time, fixed-term position, working 35 hours per week from our Meadowside Office. The successful candidate will be offered a 4-month contract with the possibility of extension based on business needs.
