Job Description Deputy Home Manager (Residential Care) Salary: £29,000 40 hours per week Our client looking for an experienced and motivated Deputy Home Manager to join their small residential care service, which supports adults with complex needs and learning disabilities. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced care professional to take on a meaningful leadership role in a warm, person-centred environment. As the Deputy Home Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and effective running of the care home. Working closely with the Home Manager, this individual will lead by example, support staff development, and help maintain high-quality care standards that meet both regulatory requirements and the individual needs of each resident. What We’re Looking For Qualifications: Level 3 (or above) in Health and Social Care Experience: Previous experience in a Deputy Home Manager role within a health and social care setting, ideally supporting adults with learning disabilities or complex needs Leadership: Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Knowledge: A sound understanding of residential care regulations, safeguarding, and person-centred care best practices Key Responsibilities Support to the Home Manager: Assisting in the overall management of the service and ensuring compliance with all relevant care standards and regulations Operational Oversight: Leading day-to-day care home operations and providing guidance and support to the care team Resident Care: Assessing individual needs and developing tailored care plans that promote independence and wellbeing Care Plan Monitoring: Regularly reviewing and updating care plans to reflect residents’ evolving needs Team Development: Supporting staff training, supervision, and performance to ensure a skilled and engaged workforce Communication: Building strong, respectful relationships with residents, families, and external professionals Budget Support: Assisting with budget management and the procurement of resources in line with service needs Reference: WILL127761/LC INDNUR
