Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer - Merseyside - National Facilities Management Company: Public Sector & Commercial\n\nAre you a skilled Commercial Gas Engineer seeking a rewarding mobile role with variety and stability? CBW Staffing Solutions is excited to partner with a leading facilities management organisation, offering a permanent position with excellent career prospects.\n\nThis role will be mobile based across Merseyside & surrounding areas.\n\nPackage:\n\nCompetitive salary between £45,000 - £47,000 per annum (depending on experience)\nVan & fuel card supplied\nCore hours are Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)\nParticipation in an ‘out of hours’ on call rota (to be confirmed)\n25 days annual leave plus bank holidays\nGenerous workplace pension scheme\nTraining, development & progression opportunities\nResponsibilities:\n\nCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on commercial gas systems and associated plants.\nDiagnose and repair faults across heating, ventilation, and hot water systems.\nEnsure all work is completed in line with gas safety regulations and industry standards.\nComplete safety inspections, testing, and certification for commercial gas systems.\nRespond to emergency call outs and prioritise urgent repairs.\nWork across multiple commercial sites, ensuring minimal disruption to operational services.\nAccurately complete job reports, compliance paperwork, and system updates.\nLiaise with on-site contacts and wider maintenance teams to plan and coordinate works.\nEnsure health & safety policies are followed at all times.\nMaintain a professional and customer-focused approach while working in sensitive environments.\nQualifications:\n\nProven experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer or similar role within the facilities management industry\nGas Safe Register certification and relevant qualifications (e.g., ACS, COCN1, CODNCO1)\nFull UK driving licence\nStrong knowledge of commercial gas appliances, systems, and regulations\nProficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults\nExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team\nEffective communication and customer service skills\nIf you are a dedicated Commercial Gas Engineer, looking for a rewarding career opportunity, please apply with your full CV or contact Bethany McCluskey at CBW Staffing Solutions
