Project Engineer
Market Drayton
40 hours per week, Monday – Friday
Permanent contract
Due to an internal promotion, we now have an opening for a Project Engineer to join us at our Yogurts & Desserts business unit, based at Market Drayton.
The purpose of a Project Engineer within Müller is to deliver best in class engineering projects to support the goals of the business vision in alignment with the strategic plan. You will be delivering engineering projects on time and in budget to a high quality standard.
As Project Engineer, the key responsibilities will include:
1. Play an active part in continuously improving our systems and business and support improvement activities/events within all areas.
2. Have awareness of Total Cost of Ownership to deliver the appropriate fit for purpose solution.
3. Ensure project budgets are closely controlled ensuring forecast spend is apparent at all times from concept to closure.
4. Coaching and mentoring of site leadership teams with overall end to end management of minor capital projects.
5. Management and adherence to the Müller project management process and investment process for technical investment within the Müller Group (major capitals and minor in non-manufacturing environments).
6. Ensure all project completion and handover documentation are submitted to the relevant site teams.
7. Support the wider project team to deliver the OGSM of the business.
Key skills & experience:
1. Project Engineering experience required – ideally within an FMCG environment.
2. HNC / HND in relevant subject – essential.
3. Project Management background/qualification.
4. Microsoft Project.
5. AutoCAD.
6. Effective communication (oral / written) skills.
7. Ability to operate across all levels within the business.
8. Full UK Driving Licence is also required.
