- Ensure patients receive high quality clinical care and a good patient experience, having regard to their customs and religious beliefs. - Independently manage a group of patients within the speciality whilst working as part of the multidisciplinary team, delivering individualized and personalized direct patient care. - Act as an advocate for staff, patients and relatives at all times - Prescribe or use PGD to supply medications which have been identified during the pre assessment - Accountable for own practice in line with NMC code of professional conduct and takes every reasonable opportunity to sustain and improve his/her knowledge and professional competence - Liaise with regional colleagues and ensure benchmarking and best practice in line with NICE guidelines and GIRFT - To promote a safe clinical environment for all patients, visitors and staff.
