Mechanical & Electrical Contracts Manager – Life Sciences Project, Oxford

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum (Permanent)
About the Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Contracts Manager to oversee a prestigious life sciences project in Oxford. Key Responsibilities:
Manage the end-to-end delivery of M&E packages within the life sciences sector, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance.
Oversee project schedules, budgets, and resources, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to meet project objectives.
Ensure all M&E works are compliant with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to maintain seamless project delivery.
Provide technical expertise and problem-solving solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and maintain health and safety standards.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an M&E Contracts Manager, preferably within the life sciences or related sectors.
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, with a focus on complex installations.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., HNC/HND, NVQ, or degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering).
Proficiency in project management tools and software.
