Support Services Manager - Water Frameworks
Location: Grangemouth
As the Support Services Manager within our Morrison Construction Water Frameworks business in Scotland, you will be a member of the senior management team responsible for key functions delivering high value Scottish Water projects. Working out of our Grangemouth office, you will manage a high performance team working across multiple areas of the business to deliver projects and services that exceed our clients' expectations and achieve our Sustainable Growth Strategy.
What you will be doing:
* Managing a team of Data and Technical staff to ensure legislative compliance across all NRSWA noticing functions and support quality compliance on reinstatement works.
* Liaising with the central Project Management Office (PMO) to capture data and provide timely and accurate reporting on future pipeline and live projects.
* Undertaking internal audits on projects and providing support during external audits.
* Supporting projects to ensure all customer and stakeholder engagement is carried out.
* Monitoring and managing Performance Measures and dashboards, ensuring KPI's and KPC's are in line with expectations.
* Leading Social Value initiatives that contribute to local communities and organizations.
* Representing our business as a Carbon Champion and driving our sustainability agenda.
* Coordinating post contract reviews to ascertain best practices and lessons learned.
* Leading by example in demonstrating attitudes and behaviors that underpin our culture.
* Extracting and collating project information in support of Research & Development and Innovation proposals.
* Organizing and running Wellbeing promotions and events.
* Planning, preparing and facilitating collaborative workshops as required.
* Working with Operations, Assurance and Commercial teams to ensure effective induction and onboarding.
* Championing the pursuit and adoption of innovation across all areas.
About You:

* Proven experience in managing multiple teams and contributing to their professional development.
* Track record of developing a performance culture.
* Effective communication skills adept at interfacing with multiple stakeholders.
* Financial awareness and commercial acumen.
* Proven leadership and delegation skills.
* Able to demonstrate alignment with Galliford Try values of Excellence, Passion, Integrity and Collaboration.
* Water Sector and relevant Civil Engineering experience is desirable.
* Microsoft Office 365 proficiency.
* Power BI or similar experience.
