Job overview
Come and join us! This is a great opportunity to become part of our dynamic, friendly, forward-thinking, and inclusive Physiotherapy Team at UHSussex (Haywards Heath and Brighton and Hove).
We are recruiting enthusiastic and highly-motivated Band 5 physiotherapists to work across our exciting range of acute rotations, including within our brand new, purpose-built site at the Royal Sussex County Hospital.
Please note that we do not offer a relocation package at present.
Main duties of the job
Rotations offered:
1. Musculo-skeletal Outpatients
2. ITU/ Surgical wards and Amputees
3. Medical Wards, including Renal
4. Elderly Rehabilitation
5. Orthopaedics, trauma and elective
6. Major trauma
The post would include participation in the weekend and on-call rota following completion of appropriate rotations and training; some of the rotations involve rostered 7-day working.
Detailed job description and main responsibilities
Communication
To adapt communication skills to encourage patients to undertake their treatment programme, including patients with communication difficulties e.g. Dementia, learning difficulties, visual and hearing impairments and non-English speaking patients.
To maintain accurate, comprehensive and up-to-date documentation, in line with legal and departmental requirements.

Experience/Qualifications
* BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy or MSc Physiotherapy (pre-Registration) or overseas equivalent
* Experience of working as part of a team.
* Able to plan and prioritise own workload
