Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the electrical specialist within the Engineering team, mentoring and providing on-the-job training to colleagues.
Ensure maximum operating efficiency by keeping all electrical plant equipment in top working condition.
Reduce downtime by conducting regular Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) checks to keep machinery running smoothly.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults across all installations.
Perform both preventative and general maintenance tasks.
Apply continuous improvement techniques to enhance plant operations, focusing on quality, cost, and safety improvements.
Complete daily maintenance logs and job cards efficiently.
Conduct inventory checks to ensure spare parts and materials are always stocked.
Be willing to learn our production machinery operations through comprehensive on-the-job training.
Qualifications & Skills:
Time-served Engineer with a minimum of City & Guilds qualifications.
18th Edition IE Regulations preferred (or equivalent).
Problem-solving mindset, with the ability to stay focused and efficient, even under pressure.
Salary & Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary of up to £42,000 per annum (depending on experience), with a 40-hour workweek from Monday to Friday.
Flexibility for occasional weekend work may be required. Our benefits package includes profit-related pay and private health cover.
