In This Role, You Will…
* Conduct tree surveys – perform walked and driven inspections of individual trees and woodlands.
* Manage tree work operations – oversee contractors, raise tree work orders, and ensure quality service delivery.
* Maintain inspection databases – record, manage, and utilize tree inspection data efficiently.
* Provide expert guidance – advise on tree root protection zones within construction schemes.
* Enhance landscapes – contribute to the design and development of landscape improvement projects.
* Support environmental assessments – provide input into ecological and landscape planning.
What You Bring to the Role…
* Expertise in tree inspection and management – with knowledge of industry best practices.
* A relevant qualification – Level 3-4 Arboricultural Management qualification is highly desirable.
* Tree and fungi identification skills – essential for effective decision-making.
* Professional recognition – membership of the Arboricultural Association or Institute of Chartered Foresters is a plus.
* Full UK driving licence – required to access various project sites.
