As an Administrator for the Business Support Team, you will provide detailed and accurate administration support to the wider Public Health and Wellbeing Division, ensuring that records and reports are up to date and provide support to those in the community who may need it. You will be part of a small, experienced team, who are friendly and welcoming, where training and support will be given.
What you will be doing:
* You will act as a main point of contact for the Public Health and Wellbeing Division, providing administrative support to managers ensuring work carried out is efficient and procedures are effectively implemented.
* Dealing with enquiries and information requests, you will interact with customers, colleagues and partners to maintain strong working relationships.
* It will be your responsibility to collate, maintain records and analyse information to ensure accurate statements are produced and data is retrieved from computerised systems and interpreted.
* You will process referral information for Public Health services, both via email and via the telephone.
* Accurately recording data and information, you will assist in the monitoring and maintaining of budgets/financial information/resources.
* It is essential for you to hold an NVQ 2 or 3 GCSE's grades C or above or have equivalent qualification or equivalent relevant experience in office administration.
* You will have the ability to take and type accurate minutes of meetings, with the skill to format documents to a high standard.
* We require you to be able to communicate effectively to customers, professionals and partnership agencies using a variety of media, such as email, phone and face to face.
* You must have well-developed computer skills and practical application, including experience of using Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and maintaining computerised recording systems.
* Having experience in using databases, you will have experience in running standard reports, analysing data and presenting findings.
* You will have experience of basic financial procedures, such as dealing with petty cash and raising invoices.
