An opportunity has arisen in our Engineering team for a Maintenance Engineer to join us, on our 24/7 shift, reporting into one of our Engineering Duty Managers on a permanent basis. Our Engineering team is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement of all the equipment used to roast, blend, and pack our famous teas and coffees. As a Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring that all Production and Operations manufacturing equipment is supported and maintained to a high standard. Our expectation is that Taylors Engineers do not stop at reactive maintenance – they look for improvements and development opportunities whenever possible. This role works a 24/7 shift pattern (Panama style), which comprises of 12-hour shifts (7am-7pm and 7pm-7am) where 14 shifts are worked over 25 days, followed by 10 days off. Your holidays are included within the shift pattern, with an additional 4 flexible days each year. About you Our ideal candidate has experience in a similar role within a food/FMCG manufacturing environment, ideally with similar machinery, and will be able to work independently as well as part of a team. They will also align with our company vision and values. Technical skills/experience required: A recognised Engineering apprenticeship or relevant engineering degree qualification with evidence of practical application/experience ONC/C&G Level 3 or higher Excellent communication skills Experience of working in an FMCG environment Expert in fault-finding KPI awareness Experience using a computerised maintenance management system Please see the role profile for further information.
