This Cyber Security PMO Manager will report to the Cyber Security Portfolio Lead and will work within Strategy Regulation and Support Services directorate based in our London office. You will be a permanent employee.
You will attract a salary of up to £85,000.00 dependant on experience, skills and qualifications and a bonus of 7.5%. This role can also offer blended working after probationary period (6 months) - 3 days in the office and 2 remote.

JOB PURPOSE:
The Cyber Security PMO Manager is a new role reporting to the Cyber Security Portfolio Lead to support the advancement of UK Power Networks cyber programmes and projects to shape our cyber security posture.
You will have visibility of all aspects of cyber security programmes and projects and set-up and manage the PMO structure and artefacts to ensure clear, accurate and reliable delivery to budget and to milestones. You will deliver and ensure compliance of programme and project methodology with tracking dashboards that meet our needs.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* To set up and manage the PMO for BAU cyber security programmes and projects.
* To ensure common PMO standards, reporting, and closure process across programmes and projects.
* Coordinate and report programme and portfolio health, financial tracking and reporting, trend analysis for plan and budget including annual planning, quarterly/monthly forecasts.
* To improve the use of resources to underpin the delivery plan.
* To set-up and manage the financial management for the Cyber Portfolio Team with associated financial reporting, benefits tracking and cyber KPIs.
* Instigate the right cadence of communications to important segment partners.
* To be a dynamic self-starter who can support UK Power Network teams by prioritising and ensuring oversight of cyber programmes and projects that will impact the overall delivery plan.
* Collaboration with important partners: such as Cyber Security Leadership and teams, Operational Leadership, Cyber Resilience Programme, Technical SMEs, operational teams and IS teams.
* Identify risks and manage a risk dashboard and supportive risk registers to guide critical decision making at a senior leadership level.
* To robustly manage the compliance to agreed PMO approach and work in partnership with teams to ensure awareness of PMO standards and governance.
* To manage the forecasting of resource and tease out clash detection issues for deployment and mobilisations.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & EDUCATION:
Experience:
* Three years' experience working leading a PMO team supporting the execution of complex projects.
* Demonstrated experience in delivery of artefacts, controls and governance for the smooth running of a PMO operation.
* Hands on experience of PMO management concepts such as resource allocation, reporting, programme/project budgets, risk management, benefits tracking, programme assurance.
* Experience managing the identification and mitigation of risks.
* Experience setting up and monitoring financial performance and benefits realisation.
* Demonstrated ability in using "soft skills" and "people skills".
* Experience working within a regulated environment, preferably Energy sector Critical National Infrastructure (CNI).
Skills:
* You will lead others, demonstrating empathy and knowledge of personality types.
* Experience working in a team environment and with range of internal and external people, and influencing Project Managers, Business Managers, and business stakeholders.
* You will advise and recommend with credibility at all levels and manage complex partner relationships.
* Demonstrated sensitivity to working in a matrix environment and working with senior leadership.
* Knowledge in using project-planning tools.
* Influencing in an environment where this role may not directly control resources.
* You will support project delivery plans with associated project reporting dashboards.
* Experience managing gating processes and governance frameworks for PMOs.
* Experience of developing reporting dashboards and presentation status reports for a range of stakeholders.
Education:
* Program management training and certification - for example, PMI, MSP, Prince II, Agile.
* Bachelor's degree in a related field; project management and/or general business management; or equivalent.
