Our client is looking to recruit an Instructional Designer - Technical to create a structured, engaging, and effective technical training program for their Technical/Operations staff - specifically focused around their key operating/project processes. This role involves developing a series of teachable courses that break down our processes into clear, digestible content, complete with key resources, session plans, learning outcomes, activities, and assessments.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical course writing/developing technical training material and resources. You will work closely with Group Directors, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and project teams to ensure that our training materials align with best practices and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Develop a structured training program covering all aspects of the company's key technical/project processes.
Create detailed course materials, including session plans, presentations, workbooks, case studies, and supporting documents.
Define clear learning outcomes and assessment criteria for each module, ensuring alignment with industry standards and company objectives.
Design interactive learning activities, practical exercises, and real-world project scenarios to enhance engagement and knowledge retention.
Develop digital and instructor-led course formats, ensuring accessibility and effectiveness for various learning styles.
Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to translate technical processes into structured, user-friendly training materials.
Integrate feedback from pilot sessions and stakeholders to continuously improve course content.
Ensure all course materials adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and best practices in project management.This role is based onsite 5 days per week at the company offices near Slough/South Bucks.
Profile
