Midday Assistant (1 to 1 support)
Hours of Post: 7.5 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday - 11:30am to 1pm
Contract Type: Fixed term till 31st August 2025, with the potential to be extended to 31st August 2026, Term Time Only
Salary Grade: Scale 1, point 3 - £24,027 FTE
(salary will be pro rata to part time, term time hours - £4,165.80)
Hourly Pay: £12.45
Start Date: As soon as possible

Ladybrook is an outstanding primary school, offering a popular and well-resourced out of school club provision for our children. We are currently looking to appoint a Midday Assistant.
The successful candidate must be a person who:
1. Loves working with children and wants the best for them
2. Is keen to supervise a child with special educational needs during the lunch break to ensure their safety and welfare through appropriate application of the school's approaches to behaviour management
3. Has the ability to work as part of a team and wants to be the best at what they do
4. Is committed to personal development including a willingness to participate in relevant training to provide First Aid support and effective play worker support on the playground

There may be additional opportunities beyond the contracted hours. The post is fixed term until 31st August 2025 but very likely to continue until 31st August 2026. Additional hours will be paid for team meetings / training sessions.
