The Opportunity
We’re looking for a senior content designer, ideally with experience in healthcare content. You’ll work closely with our lead content designer and with our team of product designers, product managers, researchers and developers. You’ll be part of our growing content design team, helping to plan, create, and evolve content for our products.
You should be comfortable working across UX research, UX design, and UX writing. You will collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders, including clinical and operational teams, marketing and product teams.
This is a remote role, working 3 days per week for an initial 3 month engagement. You must be based in the UK.
What you'll do
* Write, edit, test, and improve existing content across HeliosX (like landing pages and UX copy)
* Collaborate with designers on information architecture and the overall narrative and messaging for different parts of the online journey
* Link up with marketing to ensure content meets comms and business goals
* Ensure content meets brand and accessibility guidelines and is consistent across different customer touch points and journeys
* Design thinking and user-centric approach to creating content
* Information architecture know-how; the ability to structure content to meet customer needs
* Work with UX researchers and product designers to identify gaps in end-user understanding and make content recommendations to resolve them
* Plan and run content tests, using data to understand and present which kind of content is most effective
What you'll bring to HeliosX
* You have 3+ years’ experience as a content designer or UX writer
* Experience in creating clear, concise, and engaging content for web and mobile experiences
* Strong understanding of data analytics and methods for evaluating the impact of content
* You’ve worked on B2C digital products, ideally within healthcare or a related field
* You enjoy working in fast-paced startups, you’re proactive and embrace change
* You work collaboratively with colleagues from other disciplines to deliver content for multiple concurrent projects
* You know your way around Figma and Miro
