We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of Finance Operations to join our dynamic team in our Alderley Edge office.
As the Head of Finance Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations and ensuring the efficient and effective management of financial processes and systems.
You will play a key role in driving the financial performance of the organisation by providing strategic financial advice, analysing financial data, and implementing best practices to optimise financial operations. This is a critical leadership position that requires exceptional analytical skills, strong business acumen, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
The role sits within a wider team to 190 people, who are responsible for all the external reporting, change, systems and process within Finance.

About the role
1. Identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial procedures and enhance efficiency.
2. Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship.
3. Lead and manage the resources delivering inputs to the close process.
4. Review, overlay and oversee adjustments to the postings from the sub-ledger including reconciliations.
5. Oversee the delivery of a complete and closed ledger to the consolidation team.
6. Oversee cost and project accounting activity.
7. Oversee tax accounting activity.
About you
8. Proven experience in financial management and operations within the financial services industry.
9. Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on driving results and managing teams.
10. High level knowledge of Financial systems and how they interact together.
11. Detailed up to date knowledge of accounting legislation.
12. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
