Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Machine Setter to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, and maintaining production machinery to ensure smooth operations and product quality.
* Set up various machines to ensure smooth production processes.
* Calibrate and adjust machines for production runs, ensuring all parameters are within specification.
* Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery to avoid downtime.
* Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary to maintain product quality and efficiency.
* Collaborate with the production team to meet daily output targets and maintain a safe working environment.
* Keep accurate records of machine settings, production outputs, and any issues encountered.
* Collaborate with operators and Team Leaders to meet production goals
Qualifications
* Experience as a Machine Setter or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
* Strong technical/mechanical skills
* Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to minimising production issues.
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Good communication skills and attention to detail.
Additional Information
Av. 42.875hrs a week, on a continental 4on-4off shift pattern rolling days (0545 – 1800) & nights (1745 – 0600). On occasion you may need to work additional hours to adapt to business needs.
