Location: Rochdale area Salary: CIRCA £29,000 DOE Main duties: Deliver exceptional service to customers Ensure company aged debt is managed within established procedures Process customer credit notes efficiently Maintain and update the sales ledger Monitor credit exposure to reduce the risk of bad debt Implement credit control policies and procedures to minimise credit risk effectively Open new customer accounts Handle cash posting and perform bank reconciliations Collaborate with colleagues and external parties when required Assist customers with disputes or invoice-related inquiries Process payments over the phone Oversee and release customer orders as necessary Consistently support the company’s goals and strategic objective Person specification: Credit control / sales ledger experience Flexible, ability to work to deadlines, particularly month end cut off. Confident Good telephone skills Using own initiative, working independently and as part of a small team IT Skills with knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Outlook Benefits: 25 days holiday bank holidays.
