We currently have a part-time position for a support worker at Our Zone day centre. We are looking to recruit two members of staff to provide support to centre members enabling them to reach their full potential, whilst reflecting their individual aims, goals, and aspirations. You will need to recognise individuality regarding physical, mental, and social needs and work in conjunction with the team at all levels, under direct supervision of the team lead. The role is 5 hours a day, 5 days a week.
Responsibilities:
1. To provide support to centre members enabling them to reach their full potential, whilst reflecting their individual aims, goals, and aspirations.
2. To assist with manual handling in the role of assisting with personal care.
3. To recognise individuality regarding physical, mental, and social needs.
4. To work in conjunction with the team at all levels, under direct supervision of the team lead.
5. Engaging with activities in a supporting role.
6. To interact with centre members, whilst working towards individual goals as identified in their care plan.
7. Under the direction of the team lead, to document and record information appropriately.
