We have a vacancy for a Security Officer to join our team. You will be responsible for protecting the security and safety of the identified buildings and personnel at a busy client site. You will ensure that assigned tasks are completed in a professional and timely manner and meet relevant legislations.
You will be working Monday to Friday between 06:30 to 20:30, 35 hours per week.
Your main responsibilities may also include:
1. You will be providing an efficient and effective security service, ensuring high standards are delivered and maintained across the site.
Managing the access of the site, and completing logs where required.
Regular site patrols, check calls and reporting of incidents.
You will have a high standard of professionalism and be extremely security-conscious.
Ensure the safety and security of the premises during the assigned shifts.
Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies.
To ensure the delivery of consistently high standards of customer service.
To promote and uphold the principles of security in accordance with the policies and directives.
To maintain logs of messages and the arrival of visitors.
To adhere to the company’s dress code and wear the correct uniform.
To fulfil health and safety responsibilities by adhering to the requirements of the company’s health and safety policy and health and safety management plans.
To comply with the company’s policies, management plans and procedures.
Occasional weekend work but usually Mon - Fri 06:30-13:30, 13:30-20:30, week about.
To succeed in this role you will need the following :
2. Experience of working within the Security Industry is an advantage
3. SIA licence is essential
4. Ability to work on own initiative
5. A professional demeanour with sound judgement and integrity
