Senior Health Care Support Worker, Band 3
As part of the GP contract 2018, a new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Health Care Support Worker to join our expanding and evolving team in the delivery of the community care and treatment service for the general population of the South locality. This is a developing service with the main remit being the provision of phlebotomy within a clinic-based setting, although there will be expansion within the service in due course.
The successful post holder would possess the necessary communication and IT skills to work autonomously, although they will be supported by a registered practitioner to develop the relevant skills and competencies. There is an expectation that post holders will travel across the locality covering clinics in Kinross, Bridge of Earn, Crieff and Auchterarder.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
Hours of work are: Part time rota. 3 weeks at 3 full days and 1 week at 2 days (20 hour post). Hours of work 0745/0800 – 1545/1600.
