We are looking for a Development Specialist to join the National Trust on a fixed-term-basis. You'll help our leadership teams to build the right capability and confidence to enable the successful delivery of our ambitious plans. Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon and there will be an expectation for you to attend the office. However, there is flexibility on where you're based at other times. You'll be required to work at a National Trust location for 40-60% of your working week. This will be discussed in more detail at interview. What you'll be doing In this role you'll be focused on building the confidence and capability of our people to achieve our strategic ambitions. The role is a combination of organisation wide and central office support. You'll be delivering our core leadership and management development offer in virtual classrooms or at the places we look after. Diagnosing and designing impactful interventions will also feature. Your coaching and facilitation skills will be put to full use in a variety of contexts using a broad range of resources. You can view the full role profile for this role in the document attached. Who we're looking for We'd love to hear from you if have: The ability to design high quality blended learning across all delivery methods, including facilitated, digital, e-learning, virtual classrooms, face to face Knowledge and experience in training needs analysis, design, delivery, implementation and evaluation Knowledge of adult learning theory and concepts Knowledge of facilitation and training delivery methods across a range of subjects including leadership and management skills development Project Management skills with a capability of managing multiple projects simultaneously Written and verbal communication skills with an attention to detail The package The National Trust has the motto 'For everyone, for ever' at its heart.
