Our client is looking for a Legal Secretary for their successful firm in East Kilbride Client Details a leading firm Description Provide administrative support to conveyancers, paralegals, and other legal professionals in the team. Draft, review, and proofread legal documents such as contracts, transfer deeds, and completion statements. Prepare and maintain accurate files and documentation for property transactions, including sale and purchase of properties, remortgages, and leasehold matters. Liaise with clients, estate agents, and third parties to ensure all parties are kept informed and up-to-date on the status of transactions. Coordinate the exchange of contracts and completion dates, ensuring timelines are met and documents are filed correctly. Handle general correspondence, emails, and phone inquiries related to the conveyancing process. Manage appointments, meetings, and deadlines to ensure all tasks are completed on time. Ensure compliance with legal regulations and office policies related to conveyancing matters. Assist with the preparation of invoices and billing for clients. Profile Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a client-focused attitude. High attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and data entry. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal case management software. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. A proactive, positive, and approachable attitude, with a willingness to support the team.
