We are currently looking to recruit a full-time Transport Administrator to support our Distribution team, based at our office in Didcot, Oxfordshire, with close collaboration with our 3rd party transport partner. The Transport Administrator will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day management of queries and operations arising from our 3rd party transport provider, supporting the Transport Contract Manager. This position is ideal for an organised and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values customer satisfaction. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES · Act as the first point of contact for day-to-day transport-related queries from the 3rd party transport provider and act as the escalation point for internal teams. · Manage and maintain the Deliveries Inbox, ensuring all queries are responded to promptly and effectively. · Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to transport and delivery issues, working closely with the transport partner to ensure timely resolutions. · Monitor delivery performance metrics and escalate recurring issues to the Transport Contract Manager. · Ensure all goods movements are accurately documented and reflected in relevant systems, maintaining up-to-date records. · Coordinate departmental returns, processing replacements or refunds as required, and ensuring timely resolution of issues. · Provide administrative support, including data entry, invoice filing, and maintaining logs of returns and discrepancies. · Support internal teams with accurate order processing and tracking using relevant systems and MS Office tools (including Excel). · Prepare regular reports on delivery and transport performance to assist the Transport Contract Manager in monitoring third-party performance. · Liaise with warehouse teams to ensure order accuracy and timely dispatch of goods. · Support continuous improvement initiatives, identifying areas where transport processes can be enhanced to improve service levels and efficiency.
