We're looking for a Content & Media Manager to join our growing team at London City Lionesses.

Role Purpose:
To lead our media, content, communications and PR activities to tell our story and grow our brand.
This is a new position within the business, so the responsibilities are not set in stone. We need someone who can jump in, get things done and work with the team to shape the future of the club.
Responsibilities:
Content & Social Media
* Lead the development and delivery of the club’s content and social media strategy to build the club’s visibility and fanbase through engaging and differentiated content.
* Lead the ideation, planning and creation of club content inline with strategy
* Guide and assist with the production of our club content – working with agencies and freelancers where appropriate.
* Work closely with the Brand & Marketing manager to define Club TOV and best practice across social media content and editorial.
* Examine the social media landscape to ensure trends are identified and applied to content in an efficient manner
* Adopt a measurement and effectiveness mindset – ensuring our content delivers against club KPIs.
* Be responsible for all website content including publishing.
* Be responsible for the matchday program.
Media & Communications
* Responsible for the day-to-day narrative and publicising the ongoing story of the LCL, by securing coverage in national, regional and international Media
* Match Day Media Ops - manage match day media operations and activity including accreditations, liaising with journalists and arranging player and coach interviews.
* Manage and coordinate key activity and announcements such as player signings, player appearances, partnerships and sponsorships for 1st team and Academy.

Critical Experience
* 4 + years experience working in content roles within an elite sporting organisation.
* Demonstrated skill at content optimisation on all major social media channels
* Track record of an innovative approach to content - embracing new channels and ideas.
* Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
* Demonstrated solutions focused and able to work under pressure with own initiative
* Highly proficient on Adobe Suite
* Experience with mobile content filming and editing software such as CapCut
* Experience using social media analytic tools
* A deep understanding of social media platforms and consumer trends
* Ability to communicate key business messaging in a format which is suitable for social media
* Experience working either for or with social media agencies
* The postholder should be open to travel and working weekends and weeknights (mainly to attend football matches).
