Leading Leeds based law are adding to their Marketing and Business teams, with the appointment of a PR Content Executive. The Content Executive will work with the departments, units and sector groups, as well as the others within the Marketing and Business Development teams, to identify and author positive, topical and engaging content about the firm, its services and its sectors, which will stand out and resonate with our target markets, raising awareness and building trust in our expertise. The appointment of the role will make a significant impact on the quantity, quality and reach of the firm's messaging. The Content Executive will be responsible for: Proactively identify opportunities for generating content through, Sector groups, Service groups, Heads of Department, Engagement Manager, Chairs of the Responsible Business Committees, BD team and Marketing team. Collaborate on producing a brief with fee earner or marketing / BD colleague to encapsulate the key messages to be contained in any content Consider the best primary and secondary forms of communication, not just written but video, infographics and other media too. Author content appropriate for the channel on which it will be shared, applying the firm's tone of voice in an engaging, entertaining and informative way, or collaborate on team briefs where not a written piece Repurpose that content to ensure we maximise the impact and reach of each piece of content Work with others in the team to ensure the effective distribution of the content across channels, including social media (personal and firm), website, membership body channels, and media outlets through press releases Build relationships with key media outlets to ensure a positive response when sharing press release stories. Work alongside our strategic PR consultant to ensure adherence to the firm's PR strategy and approach With others in the Content team, interpret and review the effectiveness of content at achieving the desired outcomes, and adapt approach as a result In the process of interacting with the fee earner cohort, encourage and ensure that group members are feeding into this process and sharing content to help to develop reputation and audience Work with the Technical Sales Writer and Design Manager to develop and keep up to date standard sector "brochures" which best describe and promote our skills base and experience. Work with others on the generation of bespoke versions of the same from time to time Work with fee earners and the Digital Marketing Executive to produce expert content / insights under the core pillar topics, currently net zero, modern workplace (people) and good business. With others, ensure effective distribution of this content across channels. Skills Required: Writing and production of PR and marcomms materials Experience of balancing multiple projects at once Excellent communication skills, verbal and in writing and interpersonal skills Awareness of best practice in terms of channels and messaging Ability to work with and influence people at all levels Considerable organisational skills, able to balance a wide range of priorities Strong problem solving and creative skills Can develop positive and consultative relationships (internally and externally) quickly, and gain the respect of others for their contributions Highly IT proficient – including Microsoft Office, and social media channels Other: Salary £34,000 - £38,000.
