What skills and experience we're looking for
Our very effective and supportive Governing body are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and caring Early Years Teaching and Learning Assistant who is a conscientious and committed professional that believes all children can achieve high standards and therefore demonstrates consistently high expectations of all pupils in all aspects of school life.
Duties will include supporting the class teacher through general classroom support for all pupils in Reception, facilitating learning through play, supporting with pupils’ personal needs as required, as well as delivering individual and small group interventions for pupils requiring additional help, including pupils with a range of SEND. The successful candidate must have the ability to work in close partnership with the Class Teacher in helping to promote the acquisition of the Early Learning Goals. Understanding of the Early Years Curriculum and expectations and knowledge of Early Reading and Early Numeracy are essential.
