We have an opportunity for a Senior Legal Assistant to join our Legal team here at the Regatta Group.
Reporting to the Legal Advisor, this role will assist with legal tasks and administrative queries predominately in the Commercial and Property area of a Global clothing retailer.
This will be a hands-on role and requires a positive can-do attitude, with an open mind to new ideas and a naturally inquisitive mind along with the ability to see ideas through to implementation and review.
Due to the nature of the role, the Senior Legal Assistant will gain exposure and experience across a wide range of areas within the department, including agreements/contracts/leases, relating to property, commercial, logistics, technical, social media and influencers, and trademark queries. This role will provide experience of working across multiple legal jurisdictions. There will also be the opportunity to work with external contacts within these fields, building on knowledge and key relationships.
As our future Senior Legal Assistant, you will have:
* Degree in Law or equivalent
* Ideally 5 years' experience in a legal assistant role - one of which can be from a university placement year
* Experience in property law and knowledge of commercial contracts & IP law
* Office administration experience

* Legal documentation and correspondence handled in strictest confidence
* Good relationships forged with immediate and wider team within the business and external contacts/stakeholders
* Highly efficient and lean processes, continually reviewed end-to-end and new ways of working identified
* Supported implementation and development of Group legal processes
* A thorough and transparent service delivered to all internal customers
* A trusted point of contact for legal queries within the business

* Highly numerate
* Excellent attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with people at all levels of the business
* Able to analyse raw data and turn it into meaningful data, spotting trends and issues - and present information and ideas articulately and clearly
* Self-motivated
* Must thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to prioritise own workload with constantly shifting and conflicting deadlines
* Highly organised
* Proactive self-starter with can-do and will-do attitude
