Job overview
We are looking for a highly organised, motivated, and enthusiastic individual to join our Diabetes and Endocrine department at Kings Mill Hospital. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive, forward-thinking team that takes genuine pride in delivering excellent patient care.
As a Patient Pathway Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our patients receive timely, well-organised care. You will provide vital administrative support to the department, helping everything run smoothly behind the scenes.

Person specification
Knowledge
* Computer literate, with experience of using a keyboard with a high level of accuracy
* Knowledge of healthcare administrative systems and processes
* Knowledge of databases, spreadsheets i.e. PAS, Excel or similar applications
* Experience of using a full range of IT/Patient data systems
* Confidentiality and Data Protection
* Health and Safety
* Equality and diversity
* Sound office clerical background providing knowledge of relevant procedures.
* Experience of using a full range of IT/Patient data systems – As applicable to specialty
Qualifications
* Good general education with GCSE English at grade C or above
* RSA II (or equivalent)
* Association of Medical Secretaries, Practice Administrator & Receptionist diploma (AMSPAR)
* NVQ in Customer Care
* European Computer Driving Licence
* Shorthand speeds of 80wpm
