Job summary We are looking for a 1 WTE consultant psychiatrist to provide clinical leadership to the NorthBucks OA CMHT. This post has become available after the previous postholder moved toanother role within the service. The post holder will work closely with the existing consultantpsychiatrists (1.2 WTE) within the team. The team base is at The Whiteleaf Centre inAylesbury, Buckinghamshire Main duties of the job The Consultant will provide senior medical input and clinical leadership to the North Bucks OA CMHT. Their population catchment area extends from the area surrounding Aylesbury to the more rural north of the county and Buckingham area. The post holder will have their own list of GP surgeries. The population covered takes into account the fact that the post does not include in-patient responsibilities (except as cover). Duties will consist of out-patient appointments (including a memoryassessment clinic), domiciliary visits and assessments into patients home and care homes in the area; providing support and advice for staff and teaching where appropriate.
