About the Role
As a Technical Safety Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in a Full Field Development (FFD) FEED phase. Based in Paris or London, you will oversee technical safety studies, ensuring compliance with both company and international standards such as NFPA and API. Your expertise will guide critical design and operational decisions for CPF facilities while addressing process safety engineering challenges.
Key responsibilities include:
* Reviewing and guiding the development of safety documentation, including HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, and FIREPRAN.
* Overseeing fire and gas safety studies, hazard classifications, and system designs.
* Verifying HSE compliance in design and vendor documentation.
* Performing risk analyses, fire water hydraulic studies, and reliability assessments.
* Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely and on-budget FEED deliverables.
This position requires strong leadership in managing technical risks and identifying opportunities for improvement while ensuring adherence to safety systems and standards.
About You
You are a seasoned Technical Safety Engineer with:
* A degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
* Over 15 years of professional experience, including more than 10 years in large-scale energy projects.
* Proven expertise in technical safety studies, fire and gas system designs, and risk assessments.
* In-depth knowledge of environmental and HSE principles, as well as compliance with international standards.
* Fluency in English, with excellent communication and inter-disciplinary collaboration skills.
