If you are a caregiver and raising or have raised a child with emotional or behavioral challenges, join our team as a Family Partner. Life can be stressful and challenging; Family Partners are a parent/legal guardian/foster parent who have lived experience having raised or are raising children with social/emotional challenges or other special needs. In this role, you will work with caregivers whose children have social/emotional challenges providing impartial support, education, and empathy while assisting them in navigating child-serving systems for their child(ren).
What You Will Be Doing To Make a Difference...
* Assist parent/caregiver with meeting the needs of the youth and meet one or more of the following purposes: educating, supporting, coaching, modeling, and guiding.
* Educating, teaching the parent/caregiver how to navigate the child-serving systems and processes.
* Will be working with a team of supports and providers to meet the needs of the youth and family.
* Driving is required.

Requirements
* Experience as a parent/legal guardian/foster parent of a youth with special needs, and preferably a youth with mental health needs.
* At least one year of professional experience within the Social Services.
