This role will help us by developing and delivering our environmental plans to improve energy efficiency and carbon use across our housing stock. It will involve working with the Assets and Homes teams to set and meet our sustainability goals, reduce our carbon footprint, and support initiatives that help us achieve our sustainability goals. The post requires someone who is passionate about data and has strong problem-solving skills to analyse property performance data. A key part of the role will be to identify, recommend, and support applying for grant funding opportunities.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
1. Evaluating new and effective opportunities to support Asset Management and Sustainability Strategies, developing projects to improve our sustainability performance, reduce energy consumption, and cut carbon emissions.
2. Maintaining the organisation’s sustainability system, ensuring accurate storing and usage of energy performance data.
3. Preparing evaluation reports, briefing papers, and business cases that support the delivery of the sustainability initiatives linking to relevant strategies.
4. Monitoring performance against KPIs, using data to inform decision-making and add value to drive improvements. Continuously assessing and managing risk within the Risk Framework, actively implementing control and improvement measures.
5. Helping to develop and produce new policies, processes, and action plans that support the Asset Management and Sustainability strategies.

Due to the nature of the role, you will require a full valid driving license and access to your own vehicle.
