Job summary Neuro Rehabilitation Outreach Team Occupational Therapist Join one of the biggest acute hospitals trusts in the country We have an opportunity for a Band 6 Senior Occupational Therapist to join the Neuro Rehabilitation Outreach team. You may be based at Grantham Hospital or Pilgrim hospital, Boston depending upon the successful applicant. This is a countywide post so there will be an expectation to travel primarily on the east coast of the County. The successful applicant will undertake evidence-based and holistic Occupational Therapy interventions enabling people to gain and or maintain independence in their chosen occupational performance activities within the home or community setting. The successful candidate will be supported by highly skilled and experienced occupational therapists as well as have opportunities for professional development and supervision. The successful candidate must be flexible, innovative, highly motivated and above all be committed to improving the care and assessment of people within the neuro-rehabilitation outreach specialty. Main duties of the job To provide a high standard of Occupational Therapy assessment & interventions to people who have a neurological condition and are experiencing difficulties with their Occupational Performance. Together with the individual, to assess needs, agree goals, implement intervention plans and evaluate progress.
